Grading Policy

My grading policy is as follows:

    1. Tests, written essays, reports, projects: 80%
    2. Homework: 20%

All failed tests made be retaken for full credit, but this must be done after school in my room.

All homework missed may be made up for full credit, but this must be done after school in my room.

After the first two lesson packets, ALL homework must be completed to get a grade on ANY of the packet. Partly done is not done. When the work is completed, the zeros will be changed.

The specific objectives of my class are listed under “syllabus” and are correlated to the State PASS objectives. The general objective of my class is simply to teach students as much about grammar, usage, literature, vocabulary, and writing as I can possibly do in one school year.
